 A consultation is a reserved space on a phone call for you to ask any questions you may have and for both you and Väki Holistic Healing to ensure working with one another is a good therapeutic fit. The first step in any service with Annikki is a consultation. The very first appointment is called an intake or assessment. This is where the therapist will gather background information about you regarding what brings you into therapy. We will then set up a treatment plan on how we will work towards those healing goals in future therapy sessions. Prior to the intake session, a free 15 minute phone consultation is required.  

In a therapeutic session with Annikki, this space is created for traditional talk therapy and one may feel led to express and release through color or written form, sit/roll/bounce on the yoga ball, rock in the rocking chair, or hold a grounding stone or fidget.  Each session is uniquely shaped for you. If one feels comfortable, they may also find themselves learning how to center and ground themselves by learning new guided meditations, body scanning, grounding techniques, and visual imagery. 

Eco Therapy is an option for clients that would like to have their mental health therapy session walking and talking while in nature or sitting at a park. The combination of being in nature, movement or sitting still and expressing emotions verbally is a wonderful combination in therapy.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), can be 50-80 minutes, erring on the longer timeframe with the type of therapy it is. In-person or virtual is available.  ART is an evidence-based rapid recovery therapy that helps general anxiety, depression, PTSD, phobias, and grief to life altering traumatic events. Reiki, pronounced (ray-key), is an ancient healing modality that has been used for thousands of years all around the world. Offering relaxation & healing within one’s mind, body, & soul. Reiki can be conducted in person, virtual, or distant. Always fully clothed. Light touch of hands or distant with no touch. Please note that Reiki and Mental Health Therapy/Psychotherapy are not conducted in the same session.
